Tyler McCollum’s style of singing and songwriting touches on country, Americana, blues, and folk. He began playing guitar and writing at age 10 in his hometown of Conroe, Texas, and later spent formative years in Stephenville, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; and Austin, Texas, where he currently lives. McCollum’s devotion to crafting songs wrapped in story and imagery offers a unique perspective for listeners. He credits many Texas songwriters as early influences, including Hayes Carll, Adam Carroll, and Davin James.
