Mike McClure Table Debut
headliner: Mike McClure
Hometown: Tecumseh, Oklahoma
B-Day: 7/6

opener: Jeff Crosby
Hometown: Idaho

Mike McClure comes to The Table at Madeley with the road-tested songwriting and Oklahoma roots that helped shape Red Dirt music. As a founding member, lead singer and principal songwriter of The Great Divide, he emerged from Stillwater's influential music community with songs built to live beyond the night they were written.

The Great Divide signed with Atlantic Records in 1998, and McClure's writing reached an even wider audience when Garth Brooks recorded “I'd Rather Have Nothing.” His work behind the board has also helped shape records for Cross Canadian Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Boland & The Stragglers and Stoney LaRue; his solo catalog includes Looking Up, and his career was honored with induction into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2022.

Opening the night, Idaho-born Jeff Crosby brings open-road Americana shaped by Western landscapes, Texas stages and Nashville craft. His warm guitars, conversational writing and understated rock-and-roll drive carry the influence of Tom Petty, Steve Earle, Jackson Browne and Robert Earl Keen while leaving plenty of room for Crosby's own lived-in stories.

Make it a Saturday night out in downtown Conroe: come early, grab something from the bar, and settle in near the stage for two songwriters whose music is made to be heard up close.
