Ray Wylie Hubbard

Ray Wylie Hubbard arrives at The Table with a catalog shaped by the progressive-country movement of the 1970s and a voice that moves between country, folk, blues, gospel imagery, and rock-and-roll grit.

His songs include “Up Against the Wall, Redneck Mother,” “Snake Farm,” “Conversation with the Devil,” “Drunken Poet’s Dream,” and the cult favorite “Choctaw Bingo.” Hubbard pairs sharp lyrics and sly storytelling with the gritty guitar feel that has carried his work across generations.

Join us Saturday, March 6, for a close-up night of Texas songwriting in downtown Conroe. Come early for drinks, grab a bite from the food trucks, and settle in at The Table. Eat. Drink. Listen & Kick Back.
