A self-taught guitarist and songwriter, Phillips broke through with “Drinking Alone,” a deeply personal song that found a wide audience on TikTok and earned millions of streams. His 2024 debut album, No Town, Oklahoma, and the five-song Steel Toes and Texacos EP pair traditional country and Red Dirt roots with a modern rock edge.
