Matt Hillyer

Matt Hillyer comes to The Table at Madeley with a Dallas-rooted sound shaped by Texas dance halls, Deep Ellum rooms, and a long run of country, Americana, rockabilly, western swing, outlaw country, and honky-tonk songwriting.

Before stepping fully into his solo era, Hillyer spent 23 years fronting Eleven Hundred Springs, touring widely and releasing more than a dozen albums before the band ended in 2021. His catalog now stretches from his solo debut, If These Old Bones Could Talk, through Glorieta and the 2024 State Fair Records album Bright Skyline, recorded in his hometown of Dallas with players including Lloyd Maines, Kevin Smith, James Driscoll, Arjuna Contreras, and Heather Stalling.
